2024 Nissan Z Horsepower and Engine Option

The 2024 Nissan Z is a legendary supercar offering enhanced performance. The new Nissan Z prioritizes power with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that is paired with rear-wheel drive to generate up to 400 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque on standard models, while drivers can choose between a six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic transmission. As the most efficient option, the Nissan Z with the automatic transmission is rated for up to 19 MPG city and 28 MPG highway.

For 2024, the performance-minded Nissan Z NISMO model comes exclusively with a nine-speed automatic and gets an increased power output at up to 420 horsepower with 384 lb-ft of torque. The Z NISMO’s additional horsepower is joined by other performance upgrades like a limited-slip differential, larger brake discs, stiffer suspension and increased chassis rigidity. Plus, the 420-hp Z NISMO gets an EPA-estimated 17 MPG city and 24 MPG highway rating.
