Notably, the SL's figure is a bump over last year, when it shared the SR's numbers, and Nissan's 2027 spec sheet now groups it with the S and SV.

These are EPA-estimated figures published by Nissan, published ahead of official EPA figures posting to fueleconomy.gov. Either way, the spread between trims is small enough that you can pick a 2027 Sentra on features first and fuel economy second.

Every 2027 Sentra carries the same 12.4-gallon fuel tank, unchanged from the 2026 redesign. With regular unleaded recommended across the board and no premium-fuel fine print anywhere in the lineup, a fill-up in Leesburg costs the same whether you drive the base S or the loaded SL.

The tank size also keeps the math honest between trims: because capacity never changes, the only variable in how far a Sentra goes is the EPA estimate attached to its wheels.
