The 2024 Nissan Rogue S features a standard 1.5-liter Variable Compression Turbo engine with a smooth, responsive Xtronic CVT for a balance of performance and fuel efficiency. The new Nissan Rogue’s powertrain produces up to 201 horsepower with 225 lb-ft of torque, and it comes with standard Idle Stop/Start technology, which is designed to shut off the engine when you come to a stop to help save fuel. Using this engine with standard front-wheel drive, the Nissan Rogue is rated for up to an EPA-estimated 30 MPG in the city and 37 MPG on the highway.
Adding available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive gives you more stability and confidence by adjusting to varying road conditions. Also, the Nissan Rogue’s ProPILOT Assist combines Intelligent Cruise Control with Steering Assist for more confident highway driving, and it works by using a forward-facing camera, forward-facing radar and other sensors to help keep the SUV centered within its lane. On SL and Platinum, ProPILOT Assist with Navi-Link uses data from the vehicle’s map locator system to proactively adjust speed ahead of road curvature in freeway interchanges and freeway curves.
