The all-new 2024 Nissan Ariya is Nissan’s flagship electric crossover SUV offering more competitive power and capability. While official towing ratings have not yet been released, the 2024 Nissan Ariya is expected to provide ample power and the towing capability to bring all your favorite toys along for the next adventure.
For reference, the 2023 Nissan Ariya is capable of towing a maximum of up to 1,500 pounds on models equipped with available dual-motor e-4ORCE All-Wheel Drive with a 290 kW AC synchronous electric motor and 87 kWh lithium-ion battery for up to 389 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. Engage e-4ORCE AWD gets the smaller 63 kWh lithium-ion battery as well as a 250 kW AC synchronous electric motor with up to 335 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque for a 1,500-pound towing capacity.

The 2024 Nissan Ariya’s base-level Engage comes with the standard-range 63.0-kWh battery for a 216-mile estimated driving range. Front-wheel-drive Evolve+ and Empower+ models offer up to 289 miles per charge, while the top-spec Platinum+ gets up to 265 miles of range. As the most efficient model, Venture+ is rated for up to 111 MPGe city and 95 MPGe highway with the 87.0-kWh long-range battery as well as the highest all-electric range in the lineup at up to 304 miles per charge. With the dual-motor setup, available e-4ORCE All-Wheel Drive delivers all-weather confidence along with exceptional acceleration, handling and driving comfort.
The 2024 Nissan Ariya is capable of charging at home on 110- or 240-volt outlets as well as at public charging stations and DC fast-charging ports. Through an agreement with Tesla, Nissan is set to make available a North American Charging Standard adapter for the Ariya later this year, increasing the number of fast-charging locations available to you and allowing you to charge your Nissan Ariya at compatible Tesla Supercharger stations. Starting in 2025, Nissan will begin offering EVs for the U.S. and Canadian markets with Tesla’s proprietary NACS charging port, and the Nissan Ariya is covered by the all-inclusive EV Carefree+ customer care initiative package, which will help make it simpler to switch to an electric vehicle.
