If you've ever driven among any of our beautiful lakes here in the Leesburg, FL area, you know there's nothing like a gorgeous central Florida day. If you haven't, take a trip down County Road 561 along the Lake Apopka North Shore to Clermont, or around the southern half of Lake Griffin along the 441 to the 446 turn-off to The Villages. Or, just head into Orlando to make a day of Universal Studios, Epcot, or the Magic Kingdom. You'll see what we mean.

So, what's the best way to enjoy all Mother Nature has to offer along your route? Besides humanity's triumph in the form of air conditioning and automatic climate control, the answer is an amenity as simple as a sunroof or moonroof. You'll be glad to learn, too, that most new Nissan cars and SUVs, and even a few pickups, offer them either standard or readily available. But which?

Sedans like Nissan Sentra, Altima, and Maxima

The new Sentra builds in a power tilting and sliding glass moonroof standard in its SR Turbo, SL, and high-octane NISMO trims, and it's available as part of our automaker's SV Premium Package or SR Premium Package. You can even take advantage of available accessories like a moonroof wind deflector to cut down on noise. The variant standard in Altima 3.5 SL, and available in its 2.5 SV and 2.5 SL trims with a Technology Package, gets a one-touch open and close feature for ease of use. In the new Maxima, it becomes a dual-panel panoramic moonroof, which is standard in both the SL and Platinum trims.

SUVs from Nissan Rogue and Rogue Sport to Murano, Pathfinder, and Armada

The latest Rogue features a power panoramic moonroof in select trims as part of its SL Premium Package or SV Sun and Sound Touring Package, while the new Rogue Sport and its one-touch power tilt-and-slide moonroof comes by way of the SL Premium Package. Step up in size to the new Murano, and you get that automatic capability standard in the Platinum trim or via an optional SL Moonroof Package or SV Premium Package. Go further, to the latest Pathfinder, and the two panels that comprise its enormous panoramic moonroof come standard on Platinum or by way of an SL Premium Package. At the top of the line, Nissan Armada makes its power moonroof, one-touch open and close, and tilting and sliding features standard on Platinum and Platinum Reserve and available via an SL Premium Package, with that wind deflector likewise optional.

The new Nissan Frontier

Even the latest Nissan mid-size truck offers that bit of fun in the sun that defines an outing. Its own power tilting and sliding glass variant appears in an optional SV Moonroof Package for crew cab models with an auto transmission or in the available PRO-4X Premium Package, but you can get it standard, too, in Frontier SL trims with a crew cab configuration.

Whichever your preference, you're welcome here at 10234 US Highway 441 for a test drive in the model to make your daily travels sun-washed pleasure cruises. In fact, Jenkins Nissan of Leesburg is right around the corner from those sunny locales we mentioned. We'll see you soon for a spin!
